With much skeptisism and research I purchased this item about a year ago. Let's just say that I have put it through it's paces and it has performed very admirably.
I do not know what these people are doing with this tool to make them say it is flimsy. Flimsy is the last word I would use to describe it. I will admit it does take a bit of patience and practice to get the hang of it but lets face it there are a lot of things in life with these requirements.
As I said I have been using this tool for about a year and have come back on here to purchase another one. I plan on keeping one at the house and the other one will go with me wherever I go.
I would have given a five star rating but there are a couple of things I would change if I were the one making it. First, I would seal the unit. I wash my hands and this tool after every use. Water gets into the tool and then has to drip out while it is put away. It would be nice if it were sealed to keep water out.
Second, the spring that holds the clamp for the tissue is not as strong as it could be. Especially after a years worth of use. It still works well with the weakened spring but it allows the tissue to move around a bit.
Third, it would be great if they would includ a carrying pouch to keep it in.
One of the best things, for me, about this product is the angle at which it is made. If you notice it is not relatively straight like most of the other products of this nature. If the whole point of getting something like this is because your back wont bend or your arms are to short, how does having an item that still makes you reach clear down between your legs help you. The angle and length of this product allows the user to remain in the most upright position.
If you have any kind of ailment that restricts you from reaching those areas that need to be cleaned, I whole heartedly recommend this product.
